One of my favorite features is the lack of viewfinder; nobody uses it anyways and it makes the screen bigger without having the camera bigger. The extra replay button at the back which lets you switch from camera to replay instantly is great. The extra Scene mode button on the top makes it faster and more convenient to get to the special modes like foliage, sunny beach, snow, portrait, nightshot, aquarium, kids and pets, fireworks and underwater. I have used all these special modes and I am very pleased with the results.

It takes such great quality pictures and it's easy to use. You can easily figure out the basics without reading the instruction booklets, but you really need to read the books to figure out the advanced features, but it's fun just to play around with. Everything about this camera is great.

I have to admit that at first it was a little intimidating,(my last camera was a 35mm)and because I bought it online and had never actually held it. After only a few uses though, that worry quickly went away. I feel very comfortable now, plus I love the fact that it just fits into my front pocket!

However, when a group photo is taken, and you have someone holding 5 digital cameras to take the photo of one group, everyone ends up asking, how did your photo from your camera turn out. When they end up seeing the quality, the clarity in the photo from this camera, they always end up asking "do you think you can send me your copy of this group photo because i dont' like how mine turned out" So bottom line, this camera is a great camera!

I ALWAYS buy Canon cameras because I think they have the fastest time between shots and take really great quality pictures. This one lives up to my expectations. I had heard that the big screens on these cameras might be fragile, so I lectured my daughter on proper care and ALWAYS keep it in a case.

The lcd is great. It has a crystal clear display and is bigger than other cameras. Lastly, this is one of those cameras that you can take right out of the box and start using.

For the price of about $220 or lower you can't beat this camera... the 3 inch lcd is excellent but I suggest screen protector.
