There were coupons for both Napster and Rhapsody included, and this is supposed to be an authorized player to work with both services, but I couldn't transfer songs from either one to the player. I tried going through all the troubleshooting steps, and still couldn't get it to work, even with SanDisk tech support help. I was finally advised to return the player for a new one, but still have the same problems, so I don't think they will be resolved.

We followed directions to restore the player to "factory new condition", but the player locked up and nothing changed. We are returning this player, and getting a replacement. I feel like we were given a used, defective returned item advertised as new.

I kept trying to defend its problems, but the last straw was when it broke in under 6 months. The right channel of sound just stopped working altogether. If I was an electrical engineer I might take it apart and try tightening whatever was loose to cause this problem, but I honestly didn't even feel that it was worth doing that.

-No one mentions this, but it's a huge problem: you CANNOT make playlists on the computer! I tried all sorts of things to try to make one and put it on there, but none of my attempts worked, and the manual only explains making playlists on the device. You have no idea how frustrating it is to have to make playlists for the gym on the device, which would take me at least 5-10 minutes for a 5 or 6 hour playlist.

The manuel needs to show or explain the new items of the NEW C250 i,e what was format in the listings and what to do when you install the new SD micro card,it looks like the manuel that came with the product is a cover all for all the c200 Mp3 players. Tech support was great we discuss the manuel also that there should be one for each Mp3 player that explains the product you have and not to guess on how it works!

The Sansa device sorts the songs by the write time of the song to the player, making it impossible to play an album in the correct order. Compared to my iRiver player, this is junk.

The only reason I bought this device is that it claimed it has "MSC" mode. Apparently there is a version 2 of the device that has only MTP mode. The point of this limitation is lost on me and it is very disappointing (in this instance specifically, and more generally, for the future of mankind).

I am willing to give Amazon another chance to correct this situatuion, but I admit I am disappointed. If the items sold are refurbished or returned re-sells, they should be advertised as such.

Almost half of the 2G of storage was already used- there were many, many songs already loaded (not the type of music Mom would want to listen to!). We attempted to remove these pre-loaded songs, but we kept getting error messages. Attempts to sync new music also got error messages.

The armband I bought from DLO for it worked a lot better than the Apple armband for my shuffle, but that's about it. Even for just working out, this device isn't worth it. You could pay a few more bucks and get a 2G Shuffle if you're looking for a low-end device; the new one is actually easier for workouts.

That was my whole reason for buying it. In addition, the thing is so cheap and flimsy. The volume control was broken even before I got it out of the package.

It would just be playing a song, and then it would freeze. Or it would be choppy in playing a track. That was especially irritating.

This product is not compatible with Windows Vista. This was a Christmas gift that will be going back.

i liked it bcz its very convenient and easy to carry using the lanyard and u can use the radio too so this was the advantage.u can put ur favorite photos too.the only thing that bothers me while using it is the earphone they dont go well in my ears they are not comfortable enough but everything else is ok.and may be u'll be asking about the playback time or time to recharge is 16 hours only not 32 like cited.but any way i like it and im stil using it.good luck for everybody.

What a nightmare! If you want to use this with iTunes or WMP, I'm sure it'll be fine. But if you want to use it in MSC mode (drag and drop), forget it.

Load in the Sansa disc for a new music library. You can't drag over from Itunes, but shows you how to drag over the same music out of Windows Media music.

When you add a micro SD card it fits flush in the player so you don't see it sticking out. The only gripe is the screen is a bit small but that is fine for a smaller player.
