Which means that you can't charge them from a powered USB port either and are forced to use the AC adapter. This is fairly disappointing but it's a sacrifice I'd gladly make if having it would result in a lower quality product.

I bought it to use with my iMac Intel, but found OS X 10.4 does not support A2DP. I was able to install a hack to get it working. But I felt quite a bit of discomfort around my ears after listing on this headset for a couple of hours.

The Logitechs had good sound and worked well, but unfortunately had some problems in their construction. I had three sets (replaced under warranty) over the course of a year and a half due to the band breaking.

Bottom Line: Phones are OK (not great, but OK) Mic is horrible (people constantly telling me they can't understand me)

I can even leave my phone in the kitchen while i take the dog for a walk in the back yard with NO interuption. And i live in a city with lots of interruptions, or so the salesman that i returned the S9's to said. I read some of the other reveiws of other products and no matter what they say; these really do have long range, long battery life, both ear phone setting, and the other caller can hear clearly.

I am returning the Sonly DRBT50 headset.

Not sure if its the headphones or my LG Voyager, but sometimes even though the LG says the Sony headset is connected, music will come blaring out of the phone instead. It takes some power cycling of Bluetooth on the phone and headset to get everything to work. Again, this may be LG Voyager issue.

Short of unpairing it, no matter what I did, I could just click on 'connect' from my PC and the audio started streaming through. They sound good too. I wouldn't recommend any Bluetooth headphones to really finicky audiophiles because it's just not technologically possible for them to measure up to high quality wired phones.

A bit confused at the beginning, but read the instructions a few times and finally paired the device (sony wireless transmitter). The transmitter should be on the off position when trying to pair.

we believe it can go a bit further then the stated distance, too. the headphones are actually not big either. i read a review stating that they were of princess leia size, but they are definitely around the same size as these types of headphones.

I hate the numb ear you get when talking on the phone a long time, and standard one ear bluetooth pieces just hurt my ears. I shelled out good money (these are one of most expensive headsets out there) for quality. I thought it would be nice to listen to music on computer while roaming around house either.

1- Putting the phone into its holster while listening to music does not cause any interruption; 2- You cannot listen to your videos--only your "music". This must be related to the a2dp protocol or something, rather than the headset itself...

Be aware that watching video can be a bit disconcerting because Bluetooth has an inherent lag of about 1/8 to 1/4 second, so people's lips are slightly out-of-sync with the audio. Not a biggie for me, but might be for you.

Good sound, only thing negitive they will not work with my TomTom 910.

Not as good as my noise cancelling Sony wired headphones, but better than my wireless Sennheiser headphones. Compared to my Sennheiser headphones, these do not contain a background hiss/buzz sound.

While the Perl 8100 does not yet stream stereo over bluetooth, the new 4.3.1 operating system, which should be available in Q1 2008 does, and the later models like the Curve should stream A2DP stereo audio.
